Food safety has top priority at Tulip where more than 80 people are working to ensure that all current food legislation and regulations are complied with and that food safety remains second to none.
Tulip works closely with raw material suppliers so that before the raw materials enter production, they are subject to comprehensive checks.
Tulip’s quality management system has been established in accordance with the HACCP principles and cover the company’s own control system. The internal control system covers the entire process from raw materials to finished products.
Hygiene at Tulip’s factories complies with the most rigorous requirements in the market and is based on our own, our customers and the Danish veterinary authorities’ strict regulations.
Hygiene requirements cover the design of the buildings, production processes, working garments, attitudes and behaviour and, not least, cleaning procedures.
